How many images can be stored in a gigabyte?
We often get inquiries about how much storage is
needed for different media forms. A rule of thumb would be to
estimate 25,000 pages per gigabyte of electronic storage. When
you consider that a typical PC comes with a 20 GB hard drive,
you could store about 375,000 pages or 75 file drawers worth of
paper and still have room for the software to manage it.
Sounds simple, doesn't it? |
